INVITATION-ONLY · PRIVATE-FIRST

4. Save and test a workflow

The help pages are public. The app remains invitation-only. Public release and automatic client publishing are not enabled by these guides.

Start manually; inspect evidence before enabling anything automatic.

Step by step

  1. Open Workflows. A new client starts with Client private pilot — manual only, a harmless workflow with no publishing node.
  2. Inspect the execution plan and node settings. Save edits as a new workflow version before testing. An imported graph is unsaved canvas state until you save it.
  3. Select Test workflow. Open Execution log, inspect the run ID, final status, and node output. Succeeded proves that run finished, not that any video was uploaded.
  4. For reusable work, enter a template name and use Save as template. Applying a template creates a new workflow version; export/import uses Workavox v1 JSON, not native n8n files. Never include credentials.
  5. Keep Automatic execution paused. Automatic client schedules are blocked pending client acceptance. Do not use a schedule as a shortcut around review or public-release approval.

What success looks like

A saved version has an actual completed manual run and inspectable output. A graph preview or queued run is not completion.

Important limits

Only configured and validated nodes can run. For publishing, use the authorized private YouTube lane and required human approval. Unsupported adapters remain held.
